Artist's description:
Mostly done ;) I've got some more ideas, but I'd like some feedback to see if I run the risk of cluttering things too much.

This is another 'hard to classify' stylistic mutt of mine :/

Sounds really good. Nice and gritty. Good progression through the song though it is a bit slow. Could use some more variation, something to take it out of the 'background music' feel.... Read full review

Thanks :) Hopefully some of the changes I have in mind will bring it more to the foreground.

This just came up in my playlist and I had a great time rocking out to it. It's fantastic background music.

Thank you...I think ;) This one isn't quite done, so stay tuned for further developments or something. Chicken broth is good for settling my upset stomach.

As for the song itself, it's a-ok, but somehow seems to lack a strong leading element. Those aforementioned vocals *could* basically work, but... they'd need to be brilliant to make this piece stand out; everything in this song screams for a hook of some kind. As it is there's just nothing that really could catch my full attention - Nothing to give me goose bumps. But nothing to make me throw up in disgust either.

The only really good and fitting industrial vocals I've EVER heard are from Suicide Commando. And mind you, I do listen to industrial alot. Other artists than SC just can't get the balls to their vocals and industrial vocals without balls don't just work out that well. So I prefer instrumental industrial.

Thanks :D I'm actually planning on a vocal track, not that I expect anything great, mind you. It should be suitably 'amateur' ;)

You know what is everybody's biggest problem here? There are no vocalists! I mean, keep trance/dance aside, how many really great instrumental electronic artists do you know? I think this is a very well done industrial track - sounds just like my industrial idols, Skinny Puppy - it just needs heavily processed industrial vocals and off you go to production... :)

Thanks all :) I'll no doubt play with the intro some since I agree it's a little too drawn out...but I need a break from this tune. It's been on the table since early June, and I'm getting a little singed.

I think the intro could be shorten - maybe to the point the chord does not change before the drums start. The middle and end are excellent! I love the feedbacked synth sounds.

So you had that too, eh? Stupid online playback.

I agree this is great. I didn't think it sounded clutter: it sounded more like the style you wanted to bring on (otherwise drop off some reverb, maybe on the hithats and bass drum to give more separation). Good work again.
